Building Assets in 3D
Like in the real world, characters, props, environments all need to be in 3D. During this session, we will look into how simple promary shapes are molded into complex forms.

Texturing - Painting in 3D
Lessons in Texturing & Painting in 3D focus on applying realistic or stylized surface details to 3D models, including colors, materials, and fine details like scratches, wear, and patterns. Students learn to use specialized tools to create UV maps, apply procedural or hand-painted textures, and achieve visually rich, production-ready assets.

Learn how to build the underlying skeletons and control systems that allow models to move naturally. Students explore joint placement, skin weighting, and creating custom rigs to prepare characters and creatures for expressive animation.

Students learn to export optimised assets in compatible formats, ensuring seamless integration with popular game engines for real-time performance.

Game Promotional Content
Focus on creating high-impact visuals and storytelling materials that capture a game’s essence and attract audiences. Students learn how to plan and produce cinematic trailers, promotional posters, teaser clips, and key art, combining 3D renders, animation, and graphic design.

My name is Chris Pace
Chris is the founder of Blaze, a game design studio established in 1998. A multidisciplinary creative with extensive experience across diverse industries, he has long been active in the gaming sector and now leads projects encompassing 3D production, animation, cinematography, and visual effects. Guided by the belief that hard work, dedication, and a positive mindset make anything achievable, Chris aims to instill these values in his students throughout the engaging 3D Game Art Workshops.
