Dancing

Dance and movement sessions offer a safe, expressive space to explore emotions, explore relationships and boundaries and build confidence through embodied creativity. It encourages self-awareness, social connection, self-expression and joy in ways that go beyond words.

Workshops

Every Wednesday
from 17:00 ~ 19:00

The Dancing sessions are weekly and will commence on Wednesday, 26th, November 2025 for 4 weeks.

Workshops will be held at 

the Creative Hub, Qormi.

Connecting to Self and Others

Through gentle movement and group activities, participants will explore their own bodies, get to know each other, and begin building connection as a group.

Exploring Space and Relationships

Playful movement tasks will invite participants to experiment with space, boundaries, and how they relate to others within the group.

Self-Expression with Props

Using props as creative tools, participants will be encouraged to express themselves, discover new ways of moving, and share their individuality.

Bringing It All Together

The final session will weave together the themes of the series in a joyful group celebration, highlighting both personal expression and collective creativity.

About

My name is Sarah Vella

Sarah Vella is the co-founder of Hale - body+mind. A space for well-being - therapy, creative arts, assessments, consultations, workshops and more. She is a dance artist/choreographer, dance/ movement therapist (BTD), speech and language pathologist (Bsc. Hons) and alternative practitioner for psychotherapy (HeilPrG) from Malta. After 12 years living and working

in Berlin and internationally, Sarah has relocated back home in 2022.

In her work, Sarah believes in client-centred, tailor-made approaches that benefit the clients she is working with. She focuses on fostering a safe and holistic space to wellbeing. Sarah is a visiting lecturer at the University of Malta, holds various workshops and talks in conferences and other settings and is also the current president of the Creative Arts Therapies

Society Malta.
